Home Depot Foundation Day of Service Project

Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless has the incredible opportunity to partner with Home Depot again for the Savannah Home Depot Foundation Project on May 9th at The Cove at Dundee and Cottages at Dundee. Over 300 volunteers will help finish existing homes with exterior paint, landscape beautification, hardscaping with custom seating, garden structures, and renovation of the first Tiny Home built in Savannah. 

 

Date & Time: May 9th, 8 am – 12 pm

 

DETAILS:

o   Exterior painting on 50 tiny homes for formerly homeless Veterans and then an addition 20 brand new tiny homes for women & children

o   Landscaping-erosion control, privacy, beautification, and a raised bed garden and orchard planting of fruit trees

o   Wooden structure build-custom built seating, shade structures, gazebos, pergolas, and a BBQ area

o   Custom raised bed garden-for residents to grow vegetables and herbs

o   Renovation of first tiny home village built in Savannah
